Medical Checks
As per Government and relevant Ministry's Guidelines & Procedures prescribed, child's eye-sight, weight and general development are tested by experts. Children also have their weight measured by the school nurse, which may be a national initiative. Your child's hearing abilities will be tested. Parents may request a hearing test at other times if they have a concern. If any problems are detected during these tests, parents will be notified as soon as possible, and referrals will be made to specialists.
As in all schools, outbreaks of head lice are all too frequent. Please check your child's hair regularly, and if you do suspect your child has head lice, please treat them with a product from the pharmacy or use the conditioner and wet-combing method. If we discover a child has head lice, we naturally contact the parents and inform them. We request the parent collects the child from school to treat them as soon as possible
ACCIDENTS IN SCHOOL
Accidents unfortunately happen in school from time to time. In the event of your child having an accident, you will be contacted and medical attention will be sought. Our staff are trained in First- Aid. Details of any accidents are sent home with the child. Serious accidents requiring medical/hospital treatment are recorded on official forms which are sent to requisite authorities as per laws.
