SHRAM-DAAN (LABOUR DONATION)
The school is proud to have as its Director Shri Rajesh K Jha who is extremely conscious of cleanliness drive. This is 11th Anniversary of his "CLEAN YOUR SOCIETY" drive in Kolkata. His passion for neatness and cleanliness of locality has been appreciated by all. He earned lot of accolades from every nook & corner of the society which were aired by almost all Bangla news & some of national news channels 6 years back.
Under the guidance and supervision of teachers & cleaning experts, the School shall undertake the activity of cleanliness at every weekend i.e. on Friday after routine closure of the school. Students at the school along with other volunteers willing to provide their services as “SHRAMDAAN” (LABOUR DONATION) are welcomed to participate in the same. This will be a one-hour activity. Not only will the school premises but efforts would be made to clean the surroundings of the school including lanes/bye lanes of the village/streets. Care would be taken that volunteers do not find difficulty in getting broomsticks and other cleaning gadgets. Each group would be given a particular lane or area to clean. The waste material, poly bags, paper and many other dirty materials would be cleaned in the area.
That students/volunteers will be provided all the help by residents & bodies. Our students shall make the people aware of the different types of the epidemics and diseases that break due to unclean surroundings to generate the feelings of cleanliness in the village and to appreciate and protect the serene beauty of the village and school established therein.
